Dr. Les Blackstock talks about Pro Bono
With thanks and appreciation to Dr Les Blackstock and the Nepean Ambulatory Surgical Centre for the initiative.
We, a committee of caring woman, will be accepting applications to facilitate for someone with "Pro bono boobs", free insertion of breast prosthesis (known as Implants) if they meet all clinical requirements.
This allocation will be for one applicant only, on monthly reallocation, till such time as the allocation is exhausted.
This allocation is only applicable to women who have a clinical need and feel that they will get a therapeutic benefit from having the procedure of insertion of breast prosthesis.
The committee will make the final allocation independent of the Doctors providing the service.
We believe that those most desiring these great opportunities would be women who have:
1. Had babies and lost their breast shape. But are still young and are being affected by a personal lack of confidence. As well as having some unique personal circumstance that limits them from having an insertion of breast prosthesis.
2. Women who have lost weight and thus lost the breast tissue. Thus are being affected by a personal lack of confidence. As well as having some unique personal circumstance that limits them from having an insertion of breast prosthesis.
3. Women who have never had breasts and it had adversely affected them with a personal lack of confidence. As well as having some unique personal circumstance that limits them from having an insertion of breast prosthesis.
The application process closes on the 14th of each month and the lucky recipient will be announced by the independent committee on 21st of each month. However, they will be given an opportunity to exit the arrangement at any time.
